It took me some time to get this site up and running for various reasons but I’m here now. So your probably wondering what this blog is all about. As I mentioned in the About Me section I’m an MBA candidate so I am going to write about my ups and downs throughout the process and everything in between. This will not be limited to my MBA experience because I have an opinion about everything.

Right now in my life I am looking for a place to live in Pittsburgh and I’m more than ready to find a place and settle in. I’m looking for a place preferably not to far from campus. I’m also refreshing my mind as well as learning some accounting, Management, Business Law, Marketing, Economics, Operations, Statistics and Finance. I’m using this website http://www.quickmba.com/ since everything is explained clearly and it’s easy to maneuver around the site. I start my orientation August 17, 2009 so I have a couple of more weeks before I no longer have time for anything.

Haczar Management Corp is always busy and exhausting no complaints though,I like challenges. Haczar Management owns and manages various properties throughout NYC. New York taxes are hitting landlords harder and harder. I was looking at my paperwork to be reminded once again that the property value has declined while taxes continue to increase. This continues to reiterate how the New York City Property tax system is unfair and I know most, if not all, would agree. Conveniently enough in NYC market values are phased in over five years which allows the increases of previous years to still be reflected in the tax take even as market values fall. Is this fair? I think not.
